5 Weirdest Makeup Hacks That Work.

It's no lie that improvisation is constantly being practiced in our everyday life. We want the best but we cannot afford it, so we find other ways out, cheaper ways to create the illusion that we have it all! This happens a lot regularly in the beauty industry as cosmetic products are being modified daily and new, costlier products are being manufactured. These days with the right tools, every girl can do their makeup although unprofessional and still look lit. Now not all of us can afford to purchase these new expensive products that make makeup application a whole lot easier and faster.
   I discovered these hacks reading a lot of articles and watching makeup videos and tutorials... No knowledge is ever lost! A lot of these new tricks i learnt seemed really preposterous and quite impossible but hey! Never say never! What works for you might not work for me and vice versa. So after going through a lot of trials and errors i have chosen five makeup hacks, although weird that i have found to work quite well and easy to do.

1- APPLY BABY POWDER TO EYELASHES BEFORE MASCARA.
   This hack is quite easy to practice and helps makes your eyelashes appear fuller and longer no matter the type of mascara you use. Use a cotton bud to swipe through your eyelashes with some baby powder before applying mascara, You will love this hack!

2- SET OILY AND SWEATY AREAS OF THE FACE WITH TRANSLUCENT POWDER BEFORE FOUNDATION.
    My people with oily/sweaty face, this one is for you. Using a translucent powder to set areas of the face that are oily and sweat easily can help to a great extent prevent oil breakage or sweat from those areas,  especially when used along with good makeup products. Your makeup products should also not be oil based but at the same time, moisturization should be done!

3- USE A TRANSPARENT GLITTER GLUE TO HOLD DOWN EYEBROW HAIR FROM MOVING AROUND
   Okay this one is quite tricky and i get some questions like, won't that spoil my eyebrows? Would the glue leave? Etc. Well i have been doing this for the longest time as i do not really like taking my eyebrow hair off most times. Also if you like full brows like me it would be a good idea because you do not want those full hairs flying up and down after you're done. Apply very little amount of glitter glue and brush it on the hair using your eyebrow brush... Easy! Works good!

4- ALWAYS WET BEAUTY BLENDER BEFORE MAKING USE OF IT.
   This one is quite popular. You wonder why your foundation or concealer looks cakey and greasy after application and blending and why it is quite difficult to blend? Well here's why, your beauty blender is dry! Yeah it is! This is especially for you who does not make use of liquid foundation, dip beauty blender into water and squeeze out excess water before making use of it to blend in foundation! You will love this one!

5- IMMERSE FACE INTO COLD WATER TO SET MAKEUP AND MAKE IT LAST LONGER.
   Calm down! It's not that bad, this one i got from Huda beauty Blog and i tried it out, it's quite a lot but works fine, especially when you do not have a setting spray! Now you would want to ensure you are making use of good products and mostly water resistant, do your full face makeup, get a bowl of cold water and deep your face in it for about 30 seconds. Pat dry carefully not to smudge your makeup, results are matte looking face and a little pale, now apply bronzer and you're good to go!
