A woman within the age of 45-50 was rushed to an hospital (name not to be disclosed) yesterday she was said to have tried to commit suicide because she was unable to refund the money she borrowed from her meeting association. No automatic alt text available.

friends and family including inquisitive passers by were gathered at the said hospital including our JARAH GIST representative. The said lady was rushed down from Egume,kogi state after she was heard screaming for help by neighbours.

She was quickly attended to by the doctors and was resuscitated as soon as possible even after damages had been done on her lips and some part of her body.

The police in Edo State have arrested four suspects, who allegedly killed three policemen and abducted the manager of Ogba Zoo and Nature Park in Benin, Dr Andy Ehanire (pictured bottom right).

It was gathered that the kidnappers collected N25m and another $100,000 before Dr. Ehanire was released.

Spokesman of the Edo State police command, DSP Moses Nkombe, confirmed this, pointing out that the suspected kidnappers were arrested in Delta State. He said, “We arrested them in their hideouts.

We are making effort now to recover arms and other things. They were arrested in Delta State early Thursday morning and they were already in Benin before 5a.m. They have confessed to the crime. One of them who shot the policemen and the driver are among the people arrested.”

The sum of N800,000 was said to have been recovered from the wife of one of the suspects. Narrating how Dr. Ehanire was abducted, one of the suspected kidnappers whose recording at the police station has gone viral said they earlier attempted to carry out the abduction twice but were prevented by the presence of policemen.

The suspect said it was during the third attempt they shot the three policemen and took their target away through the water ways. He said they attempted to burn the vehicle they used but there was no matches to ignite a fire.

A staff of the Ogba Zoological Garden and Natural Park in Benin, Helen Juchei, has narrated how three policemen were shot dead by yet to be identified gunmen, after buying them beer.

Recall that the gunmen also abducted the Director of the Zoo, Andy Ehanire, the younger brother to the Minister of State for Health, Dr. Osagie Ehanire, and a former Senator and wife of a retired army General, Daisy Danjuma.

Speaking to The News, Juchei who was on duty on the fateful Sunday, said funseekers who witnessed the incident, confirmed that the assailants bought three bottles of Heineken beer for their victims before shooting them, after the policemen carelessly laid their gun on the ground to drink their beer.

“Yesterday after I finished my normal duty in the morning, people were just entering the Zoo. And at this time, my boss has not come. We usually come before our boss and when he eventually came at about 1 pm, it was now my turn to take over my duty, I went to tell him that I was having a birthday party to attend and that was how he granted me the permission and I left for the birthday hoping to come back to assume duty later in the day.
“When I eventually came back at about 6 pm, I met three policemen lying dead on the ground. I was very shocked and what I saw after was people running for safety and the boss taken away. It was those whom we met at the scene that told us what happened
“They said the kidnappers paid to enter the Zoo with a torn money which was rejected by the casher at the gate. When the money was rejected, he went back to get a better money to pay the entrance fee.
“At this time, their informant have already gained entrance into the Zoo as fun seeker. When the informants had finally studied the terrain, one of the informants decided to engage our director in conversation.
“Our boss started telling him his plans to put up a world tourism day. As one of them engaged my boss in a conversation, the other one went straight to the security personnel and asked him if they have not closed for the day and decided to order for drinks for the officers providing security for the Zoo.
“This was what those who were there told us. So they bought them Heineken and as they laid down their guns to drink, that was when the hoodlums opened fire on them and killed the three police officers. We have not heard any information about the whereabouts of our boss,” she narrated.
Another staff of the Zoo, Mr. Zontondji Emmanuel, narrated how the hoodlums shot the police officers.

“I was on duty, I resumed by 5:30 pm and as I came in, I went round to inspect the animals and the visitors on ground. And after having done that, I came back to the reception where the Executive Director was sitting down and there was another one sitting at this end. There were two policemen sitting by him. So I went outside to observe the outside.
“At the outside, I saw an Audi 80 Car parked and suddenly, I saw three men coming out with guns and one of them wearing a bullet proof vest and I thought that they were normal police who usually come here for normal security reasons.
“Suddenly, I saw them running into the zoo premises which is very unusual and when they entered, they started shooting immediately. So, all of us outside started running for our dear lives. I was calling on people running to give us police numbers, nobody was ready to stop because they were all afraid.
“But at the time I watched from afar and I saw that the men were going out with my Director. They went into the Audi Car and zoomed away. I now came into the Zoo premises and I saw the three policemen who were supposed to be guarding the director were lying dead on the ground. After that, the DPO now came to take the dead bodies away,” Emmanuel said.
Meanwhile, the State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Haliru Gwandu promised that efforts are being made to fish out the hoodlums.
Briefing newsmen during an on-the-spot assessment visits to the Zoo, Gwandu said the killers of the three police officers as militants.
“It was an unfortunate incidence. We lost three of our personnel. This is the activities of the militants because of the high sea now. They came and unfortunately killed our policemen, but we are on the trail of the hoodlums. We are able to recover the vehicles they used to perpetrate the act. We are using all the available means including the high tech to fish out the perpetrators.
“They cannot go scot free. Let me assure the general public in Edo State that we are on top of the situation and that they should go about their normal duty. All hands are on deck to ensure that the hoodlums are fished out,” he said.

Police Questions Davido & Co. As Crew Member Reveals Some Details

With the recent Davido-Tagbo incident, the Lagos State Police Command has kicked off an investigation by inviting the DMW boss, Davido for questioning.

According to TooXclusive, this was disclosed by the Lagos State Police Command saying all parties have been invited and also questioned.

Also, in a report by Daily Post, a crew member had revealed that the cause of Tagbo’s death was as a result of a drinking game idea allegedly started by Davido who promised to give a brand new iPhone 8 and N200,000 Naira to the winner.

Remember that popular actress, Caroline Danjuma had accused Davido and his crew for dumping their friend Tagbo, at a hospital after realizing that he was dead.

Videos however, surfaced showing Tagbo, Davido and co. drinking which corroborates with rumors that Tagbo had too much alcohol to take.

Admist the frenzy, Davido responded to the claim that he had a hand in his friends death saying, he would not discuss about the issue at the moment.

In a statement made by the lagos state CP, Edgar Imohimi, the police is currently waiting for the autopsy report.

The statement reads;

“The Lion Building Police Division is investigating a case of sudden and unnatural death. The person concerned, who was Davido’s friend, was brought in dead to a general hospital on Lagos Island and the doctor notified the police.
“The autopsy report will be out tomorrow (Friday) or Monday and that would determine the cause of death. The deceased’s girlfriend insinuated that Davido had a hand in the friend’s death because they (Tagbo and Davido) were seen together in a bar somewhere in Lekki, having a nice time.
“I called all the parties concerned because there is always the need for the police to ensure that there is no breakdown of law and order. The police are already investigating the circumstances surrounding the death and we are ensuring that all possible angles are touched. We will issue a statement after investigations. Meanwhile, there is no need for speculations.”

How Davido Caused Tagbo Death (Must Read)

New details have emerged as to why Tagbo Umeike reportedly died after allegedly getting drunk at his own birthday attended by Nigerian singer, Davido.

Davido who was accused by Nigerian actress Caroline Danjuma of having a hand in Tagbo’s death, denied the allegation.

In a report by Pulse, an eyewitness, who saw how the deceased died said Tagbo, Davido and others were playing a drinking game when he allegedly passed out.

The source added that the drinking game idea started with Davido who promised to give a brand new iPhone 8 and N200,000 Naira to the winner. Tagbo who was serious about winning the huge prize reportedly overdosed on alcohol and suffered liver damage.

“After he passed out, I think…I don’t know what happened…the CCTV showed that Davido was asking him to come into his car but I think he (Tagbo) didn’t want to enter into Davido’s car, then they forced him into his own car…then there was this blackout. Now they don’t want to tell us how he got to the hospital. That is the question. How did he get to the hospital? Because the police met his car and his body in the hospital with no one” – the eyewitness added.

Speaking about where the corpse of Tagbo was found, the source said: “They said his body was found outside the hospital, about three men putting on face cap, they dropped him outside the hospital and drove off. Why didn’t Davido call the police or anybody to report? We won’t know about anything if not for social media. Now all of them are running for their names.”

He further added: “I understand streets, nobody wants to be in wahala, but Davido is a celebrity, what was he running for, nobody will accuse you of anything. Just let us know what happened when the autopsy will tell us whats up! I don’t know why everybody is just avoiding him like they are not his friends.”

It was also gathered that Davido went to the office of Lagos State Commissioner of the Police yesterday night,Wednesday, October 4, 2017 to give his own version of events.

Davido is said to have told the police that he left Tagbo at the shisha room of the night club where they drank. Davido tried getting him to his car but he didn’t want to join him, which was the last time he saw him.

Prevention of small pox

• Isolate infected patients from others who could be at risk for infection.

• Practice good hand hygiene after contact with infected animals or humans. For example, washing your hands with soap and water or using an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.

• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) when caring for patients.
