Science Says Men Should Mastu**ate 21 Times a Month Here’s Why

Male self service jokes always get laughs in buddy movies and comedy routines. But a new study actually has something serious to say about the typical dude’s favorite shower activity: self servicing frequently could significantly reduce a man’s risk of prostate cancer.

What qualifies as frequently? According to recent research from Harvard University, men who have 21 or more orgasms per month could cut their odds by 33%.

To reach these findings, researchers surveyed 31,925 men, sending them questionnaires about how often they engaged in self-love. The study team then tracked the participants for 18 years, recording which men developed prostate cancer in that time period. The men were assessed at three different points: the year before the questionnaire was distributed, in their 20s, and again in their 40s.

The study conclusion? More frequent rates of self service were associated with lower rates of prostate cancer.

Granted, this isn’t the first study to find that regular climaxes can help keep things healthy down there. But it is the first time researchers came up with an actual solo s*x quota.

Despite this study and other research, experts still aren’t entirely sure why orgasms are a key to better health. Many doctors, including Ian Kerner, PhD, a psychotherapist and se*uality counselor in New York City, believe that Release might flush out harmful toxins and bacteria, which would otherwise build up in the prostate.

But self service isn’t the only way to do that, Kerner points out. “There isn’t a difference in whether the Release happens via self service or with a partner,” he says. “So making s*x a priority is also helpful.”

Beyond the prostate flush, Dr. Kerner says self service comes with a whole slew of benefits, such as giving a dude the chance to experience pleasure and relaxation. “It’s an opportunity to engage in self-care,” he explains. “self service can also be a healthy distraction mechanism and a natural way of regulating anxiety.”

Of course, self servicing at least 21 times a month certainly isn’t a surefire way to avoid prostate cancer. Kerner also recommends sticking with a plant-based diet, incorporating plenty of fish rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, and “consuming red foods such as tomatoes that are rich in lycopene, as well as soy products that contain isoflavones.” He also advises getting regular physicals that include a prostate exam, and plenty of exercise

The president’s full speech runs:

“My dear citizens,
I am very grateful to God and to all Nigerians for their prayers. I am pleased to be back on home soil among my brothers and sisters.
In the course of my stay in the United Kingdom, I have been kept in daily touch with events at home. Nigerians are robust and lively in discussing their affairs, but I was distressed to notice that some of the comments, especially in the social media have crossed our national red lines by daring to question our collective existence as a nation. This is a step too far.
In 2003 after I joined partisan politics, the late Chief Emeka Ojukwu came and stayed as my guest in my hometown Daura. Over two days we discussed in great depth till late into the night and analyzed the problems of Nigeria. We both came to the conclusion that the country must remain one and united.
Nigeria’s unity is settled and not negotiable. We shall not allow irresponsible elements to start trouble and when things get bad they run away and saddle others with the responsibility of bringing back order, if necessary with their blood.
Every Nigerian has the right to live and pursue his business anywhere in Nigeria without let or hindrance.
I believe the very vast majority of Nigerians share this view.
This is not to deny that there are legitimate concerns. Every group has a grievance. But the beauty and attraction of a federation is that it allows different groups to air their grievances and work out a mode of co-existence.
The National Assembly and the National Council of State are the legitimate and appropriate bodies for national discourse.
The national consensus is that, it is better to live together than to live apart.
Furthermore, I am charging the Security Agencies not to let the successes achieved in the last 18 months be a sign to relax.
Terrorists and criminals must be fought and destroyed relentlessly so that the majority of us can live in peace and safety.
Therefore we are going to reinforce and reinvigorate the fight not only against;
• elements of Boko Haram which are attempting a new series of attacks on soft targets
• kidnappings, farmers versus herdsmen clashes,
• in addition to ethnic violence fuelled by political mischief makers. We shall tackle them all.
Finally, dear Nigerians, our collective interest now is to eschew petty differences and come together to face common challenges of;
• economic security,
• political evolution and integration
• as well as lasting peace among all Nigerians.
I remain resolutely committed to ensuring that these goals are achieved and maintained.
I am so glad to be home.
Thank you and may God bless our dear Nation.”

Why I Lied About Being A Virgin – Nollywood Actress ‘Toyo Baby’

Juliana Olayode, Nollywood actress

Nollywood actress Juliana Olayode has admitted to deceiving Nigerians that she was a virgin.

Ms Olayode on Thursday revealed in her new memoir titled “Rebirth,” that she lost her virginity to her married teacher at 17.

The actress had on several occasions claimed she was a virgin, and plans to keep her virginity till after she marries.

However, Thursday’s revelation left her fans in fume, as they lambasted her on social media.

‘Toyo baby’ as she is stared in Funke Akindele’s hit series, Jenifa’s Diary, explained the reason she decided to keep the truth away from the general public.

The actress said the first time she was led to lie about her virginity, was when she was taken unawares during a live TV programme.

She explained that after that particular interview she was left with no other choice than to live with the lie.

She said: “People had assumed I was a virgin. I had never said I was but I had never corrected their assumptions either. So, I was still in that fix. Shortly after my confession, Ebony Life TV called me for an interview. I went and for the first time in my several interviews; I was asked point blank if I was a virgin. I tried to evade the question, but my interviewer was not having it.

“She demanded for a yes or no. I did not see the question coming and I lied. I said, “Yes, I am a virgin”. Immediately the interview was over, I hurried to the bathroom in the studio and cried. I felt terrible for lying and told God I was sorry.

“I felt it was my secret and the whole world need not know
about it. I was upset with myself, however, for answering her. I could have insisted I
could not tell. So, I proposed never to answer such again. Easier said than done, right? Shortly after, I was on another TV interview, Crux Of The Matter, with Elsie.

“I was invited to talk for sexual purity while the other guest spoke against. In the process of the discussion, around the time when it was heated, I was asked out of the blues again if I was a virgin. And before I knew it, I heard myself lying again. I was mad at myself. I was on another TV interview that trended for a while. It was On The Couch, with Lady Ariyike. I talked about sexual purity, but thankfully I was not asked if I was virgin. After that one, I decided to stop interviews altogether. I was tired of lying or having to dread lying if I was asked straight up.”

In the book, the actress also discusses her early struggles in life and how she was almost abused sexually.

Kogi mysterious disease: Death toll rise to 62

The Kogi State Government has confirmed that about 62 people have been killed by a strange disease in the Western part of the State.

As at Thursday, 17th August 2017, the death toll was at 50.

Speaking with DAILY POST on the latest development on Friday, the state Commissioner for Health Dr Saka Haruna said information reaching the ministry shows that unknown disease has continued to claim the lives of some children and adults for the past few weeks in Koloke, Okuna, Isanlu-Isa and adjourning Hausa-Fulani communities, all in Yaba-West Local Government Area of Kogi State.

“So far, about 62 people have been killed by this mysterious disease. When I visited the affected communities with my team, samples taken from some of the victims were sent to Federal Teaching Hospital Irua, Edo State, for definitive investigation, which turned out to be negative for Lassa Fever.

“On arrival at the community, we interacted with the locals and samples were taken from their water sources and food supply. It was discovered that the people affected showed common symptoms including abdominal pain, vomiting and stooling. Few of the patients however had Hematemesis and Hematochezia.

“Those found still manifesting the disease were transferred to Kogi State Specialist Hospital for proper management where an empirical diagnosis of Food Poisoning to rule out Gastroenteritis was made. They are, however responding well to the instituted line of treatment. ”

Dr Haruna, however, said Governor Yahaya Bello, has expressed deep concern over the incident and has directed that all the patients be treated at no cost and also charged the State Ministry of Health to conclude investigation within the shortest possible time and prevent further spread of the disease.

I will Contest 2019 Election says Buhari

The presidency has declared that President Muhammadu Buhari will seek re-election into office in 2019.

One of his spokespersons, Malam Garba Shehu, maintained that the president is “good enough to continue” if given the opportunity to contest the 2019 presidential election.

He lamented that many were ignorant about Buhari’s ailment, assuring that that the president would speak to Nigerians when he returns from his medical vacation.

“The main issue is the president comes back home in full health and resumes office,” Shehu told Thisday.

“It is left for Nigerians to decide. I know the decision is with the people. But President Muhammadu Buhari is good enough to continue”.

Shehu insisted that he could not speak specifically on the nature of Buhari’s illness.

“I cannot tell because I do not know the nature of his ailment. As he is, the president does not need prompting from anyone before he comes out and tells Nigerians what happened to him.

“When he came back last time, President Buhari told Nigerians what he went through in the United Kingdom. I think the president will choose the right moment to talk to Nigerians.

“In the constitution, there is nowhere the president is required to disclose his illness.

“This is a country where past presidents never fell ill before. Even when they fell ill, nobody knew about it.

“This is a country where past presidents never handed over to their deputies. We had a president who was dying in office. Nobody was ready to talk”.

He faulted those demanding Buhari’s resignation due to his illness and long absence, noting that their agitation was linked “to some elements in the opposition”.

“In any case, we are in a democracy. We cannot stop people from protesting or demonstrating.

“In a country of 170 million people, we only have two dozen people protesting and all of them with links with the opposition. Every person is entitled to his or her own view.

“Nigeria has a huge population. But there are people praying in churches or mosques for the president’s recovery,” Shehu added,

Osinbajo draws line on hate speech, says it will be treated as terrorism

By Emmanuel Aziken, Political Editor, with agency report

Acting President Yemi Osinbajo has drawn a line on hate speech affirming that it is equivalent to terrorism and would be appropriately dealt with by the Federal Government.

Drawing inspiration from the Prevention of Terrorism Act (As Amended) 2011, Osinbajo said that such hate speeches intentionally done to intimidate the population is tantamount to terrorism.

The Acting President in a series of tweets on his twitter handle on Thursday afternoon charged leaders to speak up saying that it was such silence that promoted the genocide in Nazi Germany and Rwanda.

“FG has today drawn the line on hate speech. Hate speech is a specie of terrorism. The Terrorism Prevention Act 2011 as amended defines terrorism as an act which deliberately done with malice which may seriously harm a country or is intended or can be reasonably be regarded as having been done to seriously intimidate a population.

“Silence in such situations can only be seen as an endorsement. Hate speech & the promotion of the same through history from Nazi Germany & the extermination of Jews to the Rwandan genocide succeeded in achieving their barbarous ends by the silence of influential voices. The silence of leaders at this time – in our country- will be a grave disservice to our country, its peace & its future.”

The Acting President called on business, religious and political leaders to condemn hate speech in strongest terms especially when such speech came from people of their faith, tribe or group.

He stated that silence on such speech could only be seen as an endorsement.

He noted that throughout history promotion of hate speeches succeeded in achieving their barbarous ends by silencing influential voices from the aggressor communities.

Osinbajo stated that when leaders in communities that spoke in such a manner to play dissension were made to be quite it constituted a great disservice to the unity of the nation.

The Acting President reaffirmed that the primary aim of the government was to secure the lives and property of citizens, adding that the administration would not relent in achieving that vision.

Osinbajo also observed that to tackle insecurity there was the need to fight poverty by all tiers of government.

He said that the Inspector General of Police has been directed to constitute a community policing programme to ensure inclusion of all communities in creative ways towards improving security in the country.

Osinbajo decried the past friction between the Federal and State government that has led to low fulfillment of obligations to people, adding that the administration continue to exhibit transparency in dealing with the states to enable good governance.

Antonio Conte Furious With Cesc Fabregas

Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte is fuming at midfielder Cesc Fabregas following his red against Burnley, according to The Times.

The Spain international was sent-off for two bookable offences during Saturday’s 2-3 defeat to the Clarets at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League champions’ first game of their title defence.

The Blues were already down to 10 men following captain Gary Cahill’s 14th-minute dismissal when Fabregas was given his marching orders.

They were reduced to nine men after the former Barcelona and Arsenal man lunged into a tackle on Burnley’s Jack Cork and picked up his second yellow card. He had earlier been booked for sarcastically applauding referee Craig Pawson.

Conte is not impressed. He had reportedly gone to great lengths during his half-time team talk to emphasise the importance of his players maintaining their discipline after the interval.

Fabregas and Cahill are now both suspended for next weekend’s London derby against Tottenham Hotspur.

Behind The Scene: Captain America Civil War Parts Shot In 'Lagos' (Photos)

Captain America: Civil War series which has been shot on locations in Germany, Puerto Rico, and Iceland has created an artificial scene to depict Lagos, Nigeria.

The movie being shot

Leaked photos show Captain America in his costume being surrounded by people in what looks like an Obalende or an Ojuelegba parts of Lagos, complete with the yellow danfo buses and the heavy foot traffic.

However, all of that was shot in Atlanta with special effects and African-American actors.

One wonders if the depiction of Lagos, Nigeria will be the stereotypical Hollywood story of suffering or it will be the true tale of hustle and flow.

Meanwhile, here are on some set photos. It is not clear which ones will make the cut yet.

How '19' Members Impeached Edo Assembly Speaker

Dr. Justin Okonoboh

Alexander Okere, Benin

There was drama at the Edo State House of Assembly when the Speaker of the House, Dr. Justin Okonoboh, was impeached, following an impeachment notice signed by 16, out of the 24-member assembly.

The former principal officer of the House representing Akoko Edo I, Mr. Kabiru Adjoto, was elected as the new Speaker.

Three other members were said to have appended their signatures to increase the number to 19.

The new leadership of the House also said that Okonoboh, his deputy, Mrs. Elizabeth Ativie; and the former Majority Leader, Mr. Foly Ogedengbe, had been suspended for three months.

But Ogedengbe described the impeachment as illegal, adding that the House did not form a quorum.

The House had only reconvened after 26 days of break for oversight functions when the incident occurred.

It was gathered that on the resumption of plenary, Emmanuel Agbaje, read a letter of a vote of no confidence on the floor of the House.

The member representing Etsako West II, Mr. Sylvanus Eruaga, was said to have asked Okonoboh to vacate the exalted seat, a development that led to a fight among some of the lawmakers in the chambers.

Okonoboh was, however, said to have left the seat after much pressure, leaving Eruaga to sit as Speaker pro tempore.

Efforts by another member of the House, Magnus Igbas, to prevent the removal of Okonoboh was said to have been heavily resisted by some of his colleagues, who also descended on him.

It was also learnt that Adjoto was later elected as the new Speaker after he was nominated by Eruaga.

The Assembly workers were locked out while the impeachment lasted.

There was also a heavy presence of security operatives around the premises to prevent a further breakdown of law and order.
