Chelsea Coach, Antonio Conte Signs 2-Year Contract Extension

Good news for Chelsea fans! Antonio Conte has just signed a two-year contract extension with us that'll see him stay at Stamford Bridge till 2021.

Speaking to Chelsea FC's official website about his new contract, Conte said: "'I am very happy to have signed a new contract with Chelsea. EX-ARSENAL PLAYER JAILED FOR DEALING HEROIN AND COCAINE

An ex-Arsenal youth player has been caged after selling heroin and cocaine for a gang of dealers. Former Gooner Christian Toonga was jailed for two and a half years for his role in the crimes, yesterday.

The 19-year-old claimed he was pressured into working for the Custom House gang when he was arrested at a property in Sherborne, Wiltshire, last year. He was part of so called “cuckooing” operation where gangs set up shop in the homes of vulnerable individuals.

The midfielder said he was approached while playing for League One side AFC Wimbledon and felt he had no choice to because he felt “threatened”, Snaresbrook Crown Court heard.

According to TheSun, he helped to move gang members into the home of a woman who felt powerless to resist them. Police raided the property in School View Close, Sherborne on 1 June 2016 where they arrested Toonga, the court heard.

He was caught with three wraps of cocaine, 29 wraps of heroin, £700 and mobile phones with text messages ‘demonstrating his considerable involvement.’ Prosecutor Tom Edwards said Toonga was fully aware of the details of the operation, adding: “Clearly this is a case of cuckooing where a house is occupied.

“Certainly, he had a managing function within the chain, motivated by his financial gain.” Toonga admitted to possessing with intent to supply class A drugs on 7 February, and he was also charged with failing to surrender to police after he was bailed.

The Osun State Police Commissioner, Olafimihan Adeoye, has said his men have arrested on Mrs Omotayo Salawudeen, 39, who allegedly conspired with one Oladapo Dolapo to kill her husband. 

CP Adeoye expressed shocked on the unpleasant scenario which led to the death of Alhaji Salawudeen Hakeem age 43years of No.11, Adeniran street, Hallelujah Estate, Osogbo 

The police Commissioner told news men that his men acted upon the receipt of a case of murder, which was lodged at Dada Estate Divisional Police Headquarters by one Engineer Salawudeen 

Investigations led to the arrest on the deceased wife, Omotayo Salawudeen and her co-plotter, Oladapo Dolapo. Oladapo, an ex-convict who just gained his freedom from Ilesa prison about four months ago, was contacted by Mrs. Omotayo Salawudeen, to kill her husband on the ground that he married a second wife.

She offered to pay N10, 000, 00 for the job as against the N300, 000. 00 earlier demanded by Oladapo “Having concluded their plans, the duo exchanged numbers while Mrs. Omotayo later called Oladapo to inform him of her husband’s whereabouts.  

Mrs. Omotayo Salawudeen took Oladapo through the kitchen and hid him inside a store in their apartment. When the husband came, the wife signaled her guest (Oladapo) and immediately, Mrs. Omotayo Salawudeen used pillow to cover her husband’s mouth while Oladapo stabbed him to death in his chest”, the CP said.

Meanwhile, after the killing, Oladapo wrote some inscriptions such as “NO PRICE NO PAY”, “AXE AYE” “FORGIVENESS IS A SIN” on the wall and door respectively under the disguise that the killing was carried out by cultists.

“The wife made an outcry after Oladapo had gone to raise alarm that suspected assassins have killed her husband”. The duo of Mrs Salawudeen who had sometimes gone to her rival’s house with a petrol keg with a threat to burn her hands down, and her partner in crime Oladapo Dolapo, have been arrested and subjected to systematic investigations.

GRACE:Man Mistakenly Freed After 9Months Instead Of 9Years

A knifeman who was jailed for nine years has been set free after court staff accidentally wrote nine months on prison forms. 

Ralston Dodd, 25, was locked up in November, 2016, after admitting to stabbing Jerrell Holland, 21, three times in the back following an argument on in north London on September 18. 

But Holland was left shocked after he spotted him walking free just weeks ago. An arrest warrant was reportedly issued after the court error was revealed but Dodd appears to have gone into hiding. 

The attack, described as an ‘appalling act of violence’ by police, left the victim fighting for his life. The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) said it was urgently investigating the incident. 

It is believed crown court staff misheard the judge’s sentence and mistakenly filled out prison forms for a nine-month jail term instead. The victim’s father told The Sun: ‘This is an unacceptable blunder by them. 

He got nine years for stabbing my son three times. ‘He could have died. I held my son and thought he was going to die. How can this happen without anyone noticing?’

SAVE ME FROM RECALL, DINO MELAYE BEGS SENATORS

The Kogi State senator, Dino Melaye, at the Senate plenary on Tuesday rallied his colleagues to save him from being recalled by his constituents. The appeal comes as INEC unveiled a timetable and modalities for the exercise.

The senator restated his claim that his recall was masterminded by his state governor, Yahaya Bello Mr. Melaye cited Order 14 of the Senate Rule and pleaded with his colleagues to act. 

The Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, assured Mr. Melaye of the upper chamber’s support, proclaiming the recall process “dead on arrival.” 

Mr. Ekweremadu said the Constitution made recall a cumbersome process, and, as such, would be difficult for Mr. Melaye’s opponents to succeed. 

“The Senate would also verify the legitimacy of the votes before a conclusion is made,” Mr. Ekweremadu said; although the deputy senate president’s claim is not stated in the constitutional requirement for recall. 

Signatures for Mr. Melaye’s recall were collected at his constituency in an exercise that began on June 10. Campaigners said 188,588 signatures were submitted to INEC, which is more than 52% of about 260,000 voters in the constituency. 

On June 22, INEC notified Mr. Melaye of the recall process. His lawyers responded with a lawsuit the next day, asking the electoral body to stay all actions relating to the exercise. INEC, however, said it would proceed with the recall process since there was no court injunction stopping it.

KANYE WEST BREAKS UP WITH JAY-Z’S TIDAL OVER A $3M DISPUTE, CONFIRMING ‘KILL JAY Z’ BEEF

The feud between Kanye West and JAY-Z appears to have intensified, with West pulling all of his music from Tidal, the online streaming service set up in 2014 and which artists such as JAY-Z and Beyonce were stakeholders in. 

It has been claimed that West believe the company owes him money – $3 million – and that the company is now in breach of contract. 

Kanye’s lawyers reportedly sent a letter to the company over a month ago telling them that West never received a promised bonus for bringing in 1.5 million new subscribers with his album Saint Pablo and that he has also not been reimbursed for music videos.

A back and forth took place but with no resolution, West’s lawyers declared the contract over. The pair have been friends for years. but in October 2016, West publicly ranted about JAY-Z on stage, accusing his friend of not being in touch when wife Kim Kardashian West was robbed at gunpoint in Paris. 

However the rapper hit back at Ye on his most recent album 4:44, rapping about how West had lost his principles and was ‘insane’ on the opening track, Kill Jay Z. “You dropped outta school, you lost your principles 

/ But you ain’t the same, this ain’t KumbaYe / But you got hurt because you did cool by Ye / You gave him 20 million without thinkin’/ He gave you 20 minutes on stage, f**k was he thinkin’? / “F**k wrong with everybody?” is what you sayin’/ But if everybody’s crazy, you’re the one that’s insane.’ 

It is thought West left the company before he heard JAY-Z’s inflammatory lyrics.

ADELE DEVASTATED AFTER SUFFERING DAMAGED VOCAL CORDS, CANCELS HER CONCERTS 

Adele may not be going on tour again after reportedly cancelling her last two concerts in London as a result of damaged vocal cords she suffered. The singer who performed at Wembley Stadium on two consecutive nights(June 28 and 29), was supposed to be on two more shows which 100,000 people were expected to turn up for. 

According to Variety, she reportedly inserted a note in the tour program handed out to fans, hinting that she may never go on tour again. Adele “On medical advice I simply am unable to perform over the weekend,” she wrote. 

“To say I’m heartbroken would be a complete understatement.” Adele has performed at 121 shows since she began her own tour since 2016, performing at different venues all over the world.

On her Instagram post, she disclosed that she considered ‘miming’ for the last two shows slated for July 1 and 2 at the Wembley but couldn’t possibly do it, and will be making refunds if reschedules are not made.
